RicercAzione
The condition of students who have situations of disadvantage such as to expose them to the risk of educational failure and early school leaving worries the world of school, political institutions, civil society and the economic world. When the educational frailties of these children do not find adults able to accompany them, paths of unease, of possible deviance or in any case of failure to develop their potential open up. The monographic issue of RicercaAzione addresses the issue of educational failure by presenting research and experiences that have measured themselves against it. Beyond the extent of the phenomenon and its variety, we wanted to give voice to realities that have activated educational, design or systemic devices to prevent and address it. The design idea of this issue takes its cue from the many meetings with the BES representatives of the Trentino schools and from their experiences gathered during the research "Reading educational frailties at school to intervene", presented in this issue, and from the desire to give an account of 'commitment and creativity that the school activates to meet the needs of these students who "can't do it alone". Starting from this issue, in addition to the full pdf, the individual articles are also available online, each one available through its own DOI (Digital Object Identifier), a code used to identify digital documents.
