Teacher training is the heart of the school: this is the reference in the editorial of the issue which contains, in the 'Experiences and reflections' section, large excerpts from the document "Proposal on initial and in-service training of secondary school teachers" (November 2019 ), elaborated by the National University Conference of Education Sciences (CUNSF). This is an authoritative proposal that highlights the need to continue to reflect on teacher training through hypotheses inscribed in a scientific framework that helps to place the theme in its right dimension. The role of a scientific journal is certainly not to propose operational solutions, but to highlight the centrality of certain issues by recalling their pedagogical and professional reasons and supporting the commitment and effectiveness of those who deal with them, through contributions characterized by an approach thoughtful and research on professional practices. For this reason, in addition to the other interesting documents in the 'Experiences and reflections' section and the stimulating reports in the' Reviews' section, we underline the richness and depth of the scientific articles in the 'Research' section, which are not for 'experts work in the university world, but offer opportunities for professional growth to anyone working in the school and in the educational field.
