Abstract
In his contribution, Rogers underlines how encouragement is a fundamental element for children in building both their own learning processes, as well as an attitude of commitment and a feeling of self-confidence. Through appropriate
feedback strategies aimed at promoting self-awareness and meaningful understanding, as well as promoting reflexive processes, the teacher can help the child build their sense of confidence as a student, constructively strengthen a positive self-perception in relationship to others, supporting him in assuming the "learning risks", in learning from "failures" and successes, in the intrinsic search for his own motivation.
