Developing Logical and Problem-Solving Skills in Primary School

Abstract

The book contributes to the contemporary debate on the need to strengthen critical thinking and higher-order cognitive skills in schools, providing a conceptual framework as well as concrete strategies and practical tools for teaching and learning. The practical section is specifically devoted to the classroom application of an innovative model for enhancing logical reasoning: the Logical Intelligence Enhancement Program (LIEP), developed for grades III, IV, and V of primary school by the working group of the SAPIE association.
