Abstract

The paper presents the experience of the IC Mezzolombardo Paganella, which, within the framework of actions funded by the PNRR, implemented Outdoor Education pathways with the aim of fostering, among teaching and administrative staff, a culture of collaboration, sharing of practices, and enhancement of knowledge through peer education and training methodologies. The training involved 40 teachers and had a significant impact on students: the teachers designed and implemented several learning pathways for both primary and lower secondary school students. These activities were also monitored through a final questionnaire. The data collected confirm that the Outdoor Education pathways made a significant contribution both to teachers’ professional development and to students’ well-being and learning outcomes.
