A School that Promotes Well-Being, Skills, and Talents. The Implementation of the Finnish Organizational Model

Abstract

The paper describes the implementation of the Finnish Organizational Model (MOF) at the Omnicomprensivo “Della Rovere” in Urbania. The MOF is an educational model that combines innovation and change with teaching and learning and methodological needs, promoting a dynamic, inclusive school that fosters talents and competences. The initiative, conceived and supported by the school principal, Dr. Antonella Accili, involves - for the first time in Italy - all school levels, from kindergarten to upper secondary school, through a continuous and comprehensive vertical pathway.
