Abstract

Climate and environmental emergencies determine the concrete urgency of reconstructing a green mentality through the search for models and training paths that focus on education and eco-sustainability. In this process of promoting and mobilising green skills, schools cannot be left alone, but need strategic and systemic actions. Academic educational research can support schools in the implementation of teaching practices for the development of skills for environmental sustainability (UNESCO, 2017), but must also make use of the business world and the third sector. The study presents how the University School Business Cooperation can support the transferability of GreenComp(2022) in school contexts, through a reflection on the construct of ecological competence following focus groups coordinated by researchers from the University of Perugia conducted at different times with TIM employees and with a group of teachers from schools of all levels. The results become useful indicators for integrating specific
bibliographic paths on green topics into a teaching practice such as reading aloud.
