The 'Kids & Microbes' project for primary schools is based on learning by discovery and the active participation of pupils in the construction of knowledge about the world of microorganisms. This proposal is supported by the Inquiry Based Science Education method, which aims to encourage critical and reflective thinking, questioning, and peer discussion and debate. The project, therefore, involves the use of an inductive approach, which seems to make lifelong learning possible through the stimulation of a real interest in science. The use of digital tools, in particular digital storytelling, which makes teaching innovative and motivating, also contributes to this objective.
