Abstract

As early as kindergarten, children begin to develop skills that will enable them to learn reading, writing and doing arithmetic, in a holistic conception (cognitive, social, affective, motor aspect) of the Person-child. School learning prerequisites that transversally involve different skills (linguistic-communicative, motor, attentional and control), which need to be structured and automated
before entering Primary School, in order to be “ready” for future learning. The article, after a careful systematic literature review, proposes an educational research with the contribution of a carefully designed play-motor intervention on school prerequisites, for 5-year-old children of two kindergartens in Urbino (PU), reporting the critical analysis and reflections on the collected data.
