The Apollo 11 Mission that first landed man to the moon, can be the paradigm capable of inspiring a new social and economic contract between governments, businesses and citizens as an orienting and innovating subject, in the prospect of value co-creation. This new contract will be useful to realize the Earth Mission, a peace mission with the task of putting in first place the 17 objectives of the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development. Furthermore it underlines the importance of a light leadership whose priorities will be the trust in people. We conclude with the claim that a School Mission is also needed, as school systems can make an essential contribution for a more sustainable and peaceful future, if they overcome their traditional closure and self-reference and if each school becomes a community that develops an educational community.
