Abstract

This paper aims to highlight some key aspects of Arne Næss’ thought that lead to a critical review of the environmental education proposals offered in educational and didactic activities. Through the perspective of deep ecology, the theme of the relationship will be proposed again as one of the main aspects enabling us to deconstruct an economic rationality that considers the environment as a resource to be exploited and only the development of man’s productive capacities as the fundamental objective of educational training.
