Intertwinings, paths and labyrinths. IPRASE for Italo Calvino, on the centenary of his birth

Abstract

IPRASE could not overlook the valuable opportunity represented by the centenary of the birth of the Ligurian writer Italo Calvino (1923-1985), long recognized not only within the "canon" but also acknowledged by many as the most important Author of the Italian second half of the 20th century. The contribution describes the attention that IPRASE wanted to reserve for the Author of Invisible Cities during the 2022-2023 school year, with the intention, on the one hand, to pay due homage to a writer who is important and decisive for many reasons, and on the other hand, to remain faithful to the mandate that the Institute must fulfill.
