Abstract

Teacher training, albeit with different nuances in different countries due to specific school, cultural and social political choices rooted in national traditions and contexts, is increasingly considered a priority for economic and social development, and recognized as a fundamental strategic factor by the European Commission and the OECD, included in the objectives of Europe 2020 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
