RicercAzione

RicercAzione is a six-monthly journal that was founded in 2009 on the initiative of IPRASE, the Institute for Educational Research and Experimentation of the Autonomous Province of Trento.

It is a scientific journal that intends to promote knowledge, guidelines and practices concerning educational research, innovation and teaching in local, national and international contexts. It contains contributions of theoretical and empirical research on teaching and educational practices and is addressed to those who work in education  as well as to researchers, training providers and local decision makers.

Since of 2019, RicercAzione consists of three sections: the Research section, whose contributions are published with DOI and follow the scientific standards of peer reviewed articles, the Experiences and Reflections section and the Reviews section, whose contributions offer opportunities for reflection and professional development for those who work in schools. These contributions use various writing formats (narratives of experiences, interviews, documents, reviews...) for which the double-blind review process is not foreseen, are directly accepted by the editors and are not identified by a specific DOI.

RicercaAzione is an A-class journal for Area 11/D1 (Pedagogy and history of pedagogy) and for Area 11/D2 (Didactics, Special Pedagogy and Educational Research) according to the rating of scientific journals carried out by ANVUR (Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes). It also recognized by ANVUR as a scientific journals for all the others Area 11 sectors and for all the sectors in Area 10 and Area 14. Anvur

RicercAzione provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Open Access
